When you become a foster parent, you are part of a child’s forever story.
Foster parenting is a major life decision and can be one of the most rewarding choices you’ll ever make. We are thrilled you are ready to get started and we are here to help you every step of the way!
Here’s how the process works in Texas:
STEP ONE
Complete the initial form (above on this page) and you will be assigned to a Foster Home Preparation Specialist who will help answer any questions and get you started on the process.
STEP TWO
Once you are approved and pass all background checks, our dedicated team will walk you through every step of the onboarding process including training and home study.
STEP THREE
After completing all requirements, you will be assigned to one of our foster care workers. You can take your first placement as a licensed foster parent!
